The immortal line that defined the TV series that is/was Nip/Tuck. I thought that it was brilliant, as it was brutally honest about human the negativity of human nature. Human beings are creatures of vanity. We cannot deny this any more than well say that sliced bread is the greatest thing to ever happen to us. But yet we do. The occasional argument would spring out of a nonchalant suggestion by a member of your clique suggesting that he/she would not be bothered in the slightest about looks. And that their dating criteria is determined by, oh let me see: Sense of humour or the evil generalisation of “good personality is more important than looks”.
YEAH RIGHT, only if you were Stevie Wonder i’d believe you.
The truth is, we like beauty, we like to look at beautiful things and above all humans like to possess beauty. History will tell you this, and if you’re honest, you’d tell yourself this too and admit it. Of course beauty is subjective.
Once this truth is established we’d do all we can to beautify ourselves or to create a perceived image of beauty to ensure that we, stand out. This is all instinctive and this “habit” if you will transcends even to animals, take peacocks for example, which is completely true when we are trying to attract a member of the opposite sex.
So its okay to want to look good or to appreciate beauty. Its much more refreshing to hear someone say, yeah i’d go for a girl/guy for looks first then see if we stick. Its a fair comment. I can safely say this too to further emphasise my point: that Lamborghinis look much nicer than they drive.
Anyway… for your consumption, may i present, Reon Kadena. Woosh. She’s hotter than the fuckin sun. You might disagree with me, no actually you wont.
